-Nine Google, $GOOGL, workers have been arrested after staging a sit-in protest at the company’s offices in New York and Sunnyvale, California, including a livestreamed sit-in at Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian’s office, per CNBC. $GOOG has also fired the 28 employees.
- The IMF has warned the US that its massive fiscal deficits have stoked inflation and pose 'significant risks' for the global economy
- ASML reports orders below estimates as demand for advanced machines declines,

Wednesday, April 24:
Durable goods orders excluding transportation for March are anticipated to continue at a 0.5% increase.
Durable goods orders for March are expected to rise to 2.8%, up from 1.3%.
Thursday, April 25:
Advanced wholesale inventories for March are forecasted to be at 0.5%.
Advanced retail inventories for March are also expected at 0.5%.
The advanced U.S. trade balance in goods for March is anticipated to show a deficit of -$90.6 billion.
Initial jobless claims for April are forecasted at 215K, slightly up from 212K.
GDP for Q1 is expected to slow to 2.2% from 3.4%.
Pending home sales for March are anticipated.
Friday, April 26:
Core PCE year-over-year is expected to decrease slightly to 2.7% from 2.8%.
The Core PCE index for the period is forecasted to remain steady at 0.3%.
PCE year-over-year is expected to increase to 2.6% from 2.5%.
The PCE index for the period is also forecasted to remain at 0.3%.
Personal spending for the period is forecasted to decrease to 0.6% from 0.8%.
Personal income for March is anticipated to rise to 0.5% from 0.3%.
Consumer sentiment (final) for April is expected to remain steady at 77.9.
